Whoa ! A guy can get lost walking those corridors !

By the way, the next U-tube animation was frightening at points and I had to stop ! There was also one that caused an optical illusion. After all that zoom-in , the next pattern promised actually seemed to be receding, even tho I didn't run it.

Thanks Panny - but I'm Dave not Dan :D
Actually this one was created entirely in UF (but based on Dirk Monteny's work in XD).

Sheesh! This is simply mind-boggling, Dave. Not only that it was done with UF (love your formula for these!) but also the sheer sense of imposing huge-ness. Freaken awesome stUFf, Dave!

Also adjusting the target and camera distance :)

Thanks, the secret of zooming into these and getting the "huge" effect is to reduce the "Image plane distance" and increase the magnification. This may also require adjustment to the "Joined threshold" to avoid unlit areas on lighting layers.

From thumnail, and even from this view, it looks like a photograph. I thought maybe you visited or took a trip somewhere that had to do with fractals, like an art show or something. Then to get here and just WOW. My jaw is on my desk lol. GREAT piece! This should be getting a lot more faves and Kudos, imo. :+fav:

Ultrafractal is here:

Once you have Ultrafractal, my 3D IFS formulas are in the Ultrafractal formula database and you can update your formulas from this from within Ultrafractal by choosing "Update public formulas" from the Options menu.
Also the formula database is here:

I love the interior view! Although, I desperately want to see something more realistic than a default flat blue out the "window"!
