3D Newton

Description

A Newton in 3D - requested online by Alessandro. This one was rendered in 2001 using the MMF "Solid 3D" fornulas as they are in the database except that I had added the Quaternionic and Hypercomplex Newtons to my private version (which I lost). I'm just adding them again since I'm working on the formulas anyway :-) It isn't rendered in high quality as the detail level was set low because my machine in 2001 was considerably slower at rendering - as was everybody's :-). For anyone interested an AVI version with 4* as many frames and at 320*240 is available here [link] (it's only around 250Kb) - many thanks to Paul Lee for hosting the file. As I remembered this I thought it was either a Hypercomplex or Quaternionic Newton but I've now realised it's actually a "Julibrot" style view of a complex Newton :-)
